Extended Laminated Glass Cutting for Larger Sheets
The Vetromac LAM33L is a high-technology laminated glass cutting module developed for integration with Vetromac CNC float glass cutting machines.
When combined with a compatible Vetromac cutting table, the LAM33L creates an all-in-one glass cutting system capable of processing both monolithic float glass and laminated glass within a coordinated production area.
This integrated configuration allows professional glass processors to expand their laminated-glass capabilities without installing a completely separate laminated-glass cutting line.
Laminated Glass Processing Capacity
The LAM33L is designed for laminated glass compositions ranging from 3+3 mm to 8+8 mm.
It supports laminated glass lengths up to 3,300 mm and provides positioning accuracy of ±0.5 mm.
With a maximum operating speed of 160 m/min, the module combines precise positioning, controlled glass handling and efficient industrial performance.
Extended L Configuration
The LAM33L features the extended L configuration, with an overall module height of 1,670 mm.
Compared with the standard LAM33, this version provides an alternative mechanical layout while maintaining the same 3,300 mm laminated-glass capacity and core operating performance.
Integrated Operation with the CNC Cutting Machine
The movable bridge of the connected Vetromac CNC float glass cutting machine performs several functions during laminated-glass processing.
It acts as a positioning stop for accurate alignment of the glass sheet and also functions as the cutting bridge for laminated glass.
This integrated concept reduces the number of separate mechanical systems required and allows the CNC cutting machine and laminated-glass module to operate as one coordinated solution.
Automatic Vacuum Glass Holding System
The LAM33L uses an automatic vacuum holding system to secure the laminated glass during processing.
The contact surface is fully rubberised, providing a strong and stable grip through the suction cups while protecting the glass surface.
Automatic vacuum-control valves manage the holding system and help maintain reliable glass retention throughout the operating cycle.
Retractable Protective Balls
The working area incorporates retractable protective support balls that assist with the movement and positioning of the laminated-glass sheet.
The balls retract during the holding and cutting phase, allowing the glass to rest securely on the rubberised vacuum surface.
This system helps reduce friction during handling while supporting accurate positioning before processing.
Glass Floating System
The integrated Glass Floating System creates a cushion of air underneath the laminated-glass sheet.
This makes larger and heavier glass sheets easier to move and position across the working surface, reducing operator effort and supporting controlled handling.
Serviceable Modular Construction
The LAM33L is designed with accessible and individually replaceable components.
This service-oriented construction simplifies maintenance and allows worn or damaged components to be replaced without changing complete assemblies.
The modular design supports reduced downtime and lower long-term maintenance costs.
Designed for Larger Laminated Glass Formats
With a maximum laminated-glass length of 3,300 mm, the LAM33L is suitable for larger architectural and safety-glass applications.
