The Schiavo HTL Series is a professional horizontal washing and drying system developed for cleaning all types of flat glass.

Its robust industrial construction, flexible model range and extensive use of stainless steel make it suitable for demanding glass-processing environments and continuous production.

The available maximum glass widths range from 500 to 3,300 mm, covering small glass components, standard architectural formats and large industrial glass sheets.

Horizontal Glass Processing

Glass is transported horizontally through the washing, rinsing and drying sections.

This configuration is particularly suitable for integration with horizontal processing equipment and for products that are more effectively handled in a flat position.

Four- or Six-Brush Washing System

The HTL Series can be configured with four or six cylindrical nylon brushes.

The brushes are rectified, dynamically balanced and manufactured as single-piece components rather than segmented brushes.

Each brush is fitted with a stainless-steel shaft, providing durability and resistance to the humid washing environment.

Upper and Lower Surface Cleaning

The washing system acts on both the upper and lower surfaces of the glass.

The standard brush bristle specification is 0.3 µm, supporting effective cleaning while maintaining controlled contact with the glass surface.

Separate Washing and Rinsing Sections

The machine incorporates dedicated washing and rinsing areas.

Independent water-recycling circuits help maintain process efficiency while significantly reducing fresh-water consumption.

Four Stainless-Steel Air Knives

All HTL models are equipped with four air knives.

The air knives are manufactured from AISI 304 stainless steel and direct controlled airflow across the upper and lower surfaces of the glass.

This configuration provides effective water removal and consistent drying at the machine outlet.

Extensive AISI 304 Stainless-Steel Construction

The machine body, washing section and rinsing section are manufactured from AISI 304 stainless steel.

The spraying bars and drying air knives are also made from stainless steel.

Mechanical components exposed to water are manufactured from aluminium, PVC or stainless steel to improve durability and corrosion resistance.

Corrosion-Protected Frames and Covers

The external frames and covers are treated against corrosion and finished with epoxy powder coating.

This treatment provides additional protection in humid industrial environments and contributes to long machine life.

Vulcanised and Rectified Transport Rollers

Glass transport is carried out by vulcanised and rectified rubber rollers.

The roller mechanisms are protected through fixed rubber rings, reducing direct exposure of the mechanical components to water and process contamination.

Inverter-Controlled Working Speed

The working speed is controlled by inverter and can be adjusted from 1 to 6 metres per minute.

This allows the operator to adapt the machine speed to the glass dimensions, thickness, contamination level and connected production equipment.

Glass Thickness up to 50 mm

The standard glass-thickness range is from 3 to 12 mm.

Optional configurations are available for processing glass up to 50 mm thick.

This makes the HTL Series suitable for standard monolithic glass as well as thicker laminated, architectural and specialty glass products.

Low Water Consumption

Independent water-recycling circuits significantly reduce the quantity of fresh water required during operation.

This supports lower operating costs and more sustainable production.

Reduced Energy Consumption

The HTL Series uses IE3 high-efficiency motors.

The combination of efficient motors and inverter-controlled movement helps reduce electrical consumption while maintaining industrial washing and drying performance.

Low Maintenance and Easy Operation
