The Schiatti Angelo BFP 12 3/20 mm is a professional double edging machine designed to process two opposite edges of glass sheets simultaneously, reducing production times while guaranteeing excellent squareness, repeatability and finishing quality. Unlike traditional straight-line edgers that process one side at a time, the BFP series works on two parallel sides simultaneously, making it particularly suitable for high-volume glass production.
Designed for processing glass thicknesses from 3 mm to 20 mm, the BFP 12 is especially suitable for medium and large glass companies producing mirrors, furniture glass, shelves, laminated glass, stairs and other architectural applications.
The machine is equipped with a dual-driven polyurethane timing belt conveyor system, adjustable according to glass thickness, ensuring precise and stable glass movement during processing. The integrated squaring assembly aligns the glass sheets before grinding, while the automatic alignment system distributes the material removal evenly on both sides, guaranteeing uniform edge quality.
The BFP 12 features independent adjustment of diamond wheels, automatic adjustment of polishing wheels and a PLC control system for managing glass thickness, working speed, processing devices and machine diagnostics. The closed-circuit water cooling system ensures stable operation and long-term reliability during continuous production.
