The Schiatti Angelo BFP 20 3/20 mm is a high-performance double edging machine engineered for professional glass processors requiring maximum efficiency, precision and reliability. The machine processes two opposite glass edges simultaneously, allowing a significant reduction in production time compared with traditional single-side edging systems.
Designed for glass thicknesses from 3 mm to 20 mm, the BFP 20 is positioned between the BFP 12 and BFP 35 models, offering an ideal balance between productivity, flexibility and investment cost. It is suitable for medium and large glass companies producing architectural glass, furniture glass, laminated glass, doors, partitions and large decorative glass elements.
The machine configuration includes:
3D – diamond grinding wheels for material removal;
2FD – flat diamond wheels for edge preparation;
2FL – flat polishing wheels;
3L – polishing wheels for final finishing;
Optional SP dubbing system for additional corner finishing.
The BFP 20 is equipped with an advanced glass transport and positioning system designed to guarantee maximum accuracy during processing. The automatic alignment system ensures uniform material removal from both sides, maintaining excellent squareness and consistent edge dimensions even with large and heavy glass panels.
The machine structure has been developed for continuous industrial operation, with a reinforced frame, precision movement systems and a closed-loop water cooling system that guarantees stable working conditions and long tool life.
