Description

Compact CNC Glass Cutting Machine for Production Lines

The Vetromac SL26-19 is a CNC float glass cutting machine developed for integration into automated glass processing lines.

Its compact format makes it suitable for professional glass processors requiring reliable automatic glass transport, precise CNC cutting and efficient connection with upstream and downstream production equipment.

The machine processes monolithic float glass sheets up to 2,600 × 1,850 mm, with glass thicknesses ranging from 2 to 19 mm.

With a maximum cutting speed of 200 m/min and cutting accuracy of ±0.15 mm, the SL26-19 delivers the precision and repeatability required for continuous industrial production.

Integrated Belt Transport System

Glass loading and unloading are performed through special T10 transport belts integrated into the working table.

The belt management system is fully adjustable, allowing accurate alignment of the belts with the machine’s working surface. This supports smooth and controlled transfer of the glass sheet between the cutting machine and the connected production-line equipment.

The belts are covered with a special high-grip material to improve contact with the glass during loading, positioning and unloading operations.

Easy Belt Replacement and Maintenance

Vetromac uses an exclusive traction and sliding solution that allows the operator to replace the transport belts directly from above the cutting table.

The adjustment system is also accessible from the upper side of the machine, reducing maintenance time and avoiding unnecessary disassembly of the table structure.

Easily replaceable anti-friction sliding components help maintain smooth belt operation and support long-term serviceability.

Optional Glass Floating System

The SL26-19 can be equipped with an optional Glass Floating System.

The air flotation system creates a cushion of air underneath the glass sheet, allowing the operator to move and position the glass more easily across the working surface.

A dedicated blower can be installed for each machine module, providing evenly distributed air flotation across the table.

Engineered for Accuracy and Durability

The SL26-19 features a rigid steel cutting bridge designed to maintain long-term structural accuracy.

The cutting bridge and cutting head operate on double linear guides with recirculating ball bearings, providing stable and precise motion during high-speed cutting operations.

An ultra-low-friction scoring cylinder provides controlled and consistent cutting pressure across the complete glass-thickness range.

CNC-Machined Modular Construction

Vetromac machines are based on a modular construction system in which the mechanical components are CNC-machined and mechanically assembled.

The precision mechanical structure is designed without welded joints, supporting dimensional consistency, easier component replacement and long-term serviceability.

Adjustable and Replaceable Work Surface

The machine’s working surface is divided into individually adjustable and interchangeable panels.

This construction allows the cutting table to be accurately levelled and enables worn panels to be replaced individually without replacing the complete working surface.

Designed for Automated Production Lines

The SL26-19 is intended for integration with automatic loading systems, breakout tables and other glass-processing equipment.

Its compact footprint, belt transport system and modular architecture make it suitable for efficient automated production layouts where controlled glass transfer and cutting precision are essential.

Designed for Low Total Cost of Ownership

Accessible belt adjustment, replaceable sliding components, interchangeable work-surface panels and modular CNC-machined construction help reduce maintenance requirements and machine downtime.

This design philosophy supports dependable long-term operation and a low total cost of ownership throughout the machine’s lifecycle.
